Enjoy the grandeur of this prestigious lakeside home, built in the 1920's to enjoy extensive northern lake views and take advantage of all day sunshine. Tastefully restored to meet every requirement of the twenty-first century, with wireless Internet access, Sky television, DVD and Bose surround sound system, all in the comfort of the splendid lounge.

Stay in one of the delightful queen size bedrooms. It will seem that the lake belongs just to you. Quiet nights and still mornings make The Lake House the right choice. Relax and unwind at the end of the day with a drink on the veranda or in the indoor spa pool - both overlook the lake. For the more active there is plenty to do; there are kayaks to paddle, take a pleasant walk along the shore, or have a refreshing dip in the lake.

Each morning a Continental style breakfast, followed by the hot dish of the day, is served either in the dining room or out on the verandah overlooking the lake. Tea and coffee are available anytime and pre-dinner drinks are offered each evening.

The two guest bedrooms are on the ground floor with easy level access. The bedrooms are furnished in an uncluttered style with thoughtful details provided for your comfort. In the hallway, close to your room, is a refreshment centre with refrigerator, tea & coffee making, soft drinks (sodas) and a selection of snacks - all complimentary.

You are welcome in the living room anytime. There are books and games, wireless internet access, a TV with Sky and DVD, Bose surround sound system and ample comfortable seating.

The views from all rooms are stunning and each has access to the covered, north facing verandah which leads to the garden and lake edge.

Zone-controlled under-floor heating is available with the addition of a cosy wood fire in the living room in the colder months. In your room we will help you set your preferred temperature.

Relax and unwind all year round in our luxury, purpose built spa room, with en-suite shower and toilet facilities. Open up the bi-fold windows to fully enjoy the ambience of the lakeside setting.

TAHI is the larger room with a good view of the lake and opening on to the verandah. The bathroom opens off the room and has a shower, WC and basin.
