Maggie's Place Bed & Breakfast
Maggie's Place is located next to the Waipu River, the historic Waipu Cemetery and Waipu Wildlife Refuge.
We provide a friendly, restful environment for people who want a break from the stresses of modern-day living. Waipu Village is 3 km away where you can visit the Waipu Museum and information centre with an excellent shop with lots of NZ made products for that special gift
Enjoy a meal, coffee or visit our local Art Galleries. The Bream Bay beaches of Waipu Cove and Lang's and Uretiti are close by.
Our holiday accommodation is a large ground floor self-contained 2-bedroom unit/apartment. The rooms have double beds with a single bed in bedroom two. Just walk in, put your bags down and you are ready to enjoy your stay. Every thing you will need is there, including beach towels
Breakfast is continental and brought down for you to enjoy at your leisure.
For privacy or for the longer staying guest booking the entire unit is recommended. Relax on the decks which look out onto our much admired garden
A very short walk from our garden takes you to the Waipu River bank where you can sit, read, walk, swim or just take in the views out to sea including the Hen and Chicken Islands.
Those who have a desire to investigate local history can wander around the Historic Waipu Cemetery.
We also have a bedroom upstairs that looks out over our garden, the river and out into Bream Bay. It has a Queen size bed. The facilities are shared. This room is used for B&B only.
