Jan is a professional violinist and Concertmaster of the Christchurch Symphony for the past 15 years. He has held leading positions in Holland, South Africa, Hong Kong, & Australia.

He has been closely associated with Symphony concerts/ Opera/ Chamber music, and worked with many of the worlds greatest artists & conductors for more than 3 decades and most recently with icons such as Pavaroti, Elton John, Diana Kraal & Andrea Boccelli.
