Grove Villa is a character villa with a choice of 6 rooms, off-street parking, free fast internet and delicious continental breakfasts. An ideal base from which to explore the sunniest place in NZ, the exciting Nelson region with many attractions such as wineries, art, and beautiful nature areas including the Abel Tasman National Park and Farewell Spit. All rooms are tastefully furnished with period furnishings, superior beds, television, quality linens, and are smoke-free. The guest lounge has a free internet terminal, refreshments available throughout the day, and a log fire in the winter.

Your stay includes a delicious continental breakfast with cereals, breads, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, fruit juice, and real coffee and tea.

Off-street car parking available, and cyclists, we have a secure lock up garage for your pushbikes.

Nelson's city centre is a pleasant six minute walk from Grove Villa. Nelson is a vibrant city, known for its lively arts community and the famous Montana New Zealand Wearable Art Awards. From Grove Villa you can explore the city cafés, shops, galleries and the eclectic Saturday morning market. Take the Maitai River Walkway to the city, visit the Suter Art Gallery, the Queen's Gardens, the Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (polytechnic), Trafalgar Centre, Trafalgar Park or the Nelson Visitor Info Centre.

Walk a little further to the Miyazu Japanese stroll gardens or climb the Centre of New Zealand walkway for a panoramic view of the Tasman Bay from the mountains to the sea. Explore the Nelson region and the incredibly wide variety of activities it has to offer.

For the gourmet there's the wine trail of boutique vineyards, internationally known for their pinot noir and chardonnay; wharf side seafood restaurants and vineyard cafes, local cheese, chutneys, beers, preserves and fresh berries or pip fruit.
