Very quiet, very rural, our self contained cottages are nestled amongst 5 acres of peaceful country gardens and orchard. Relax by our pool, enjoy the in season fruits, meet our friendly farm animals.

We have a donkey, 3 sheep, chickens, and 2 small dogs. We grow plums, oranges, figs, mandarins, apples and a variety of vegetables.

Visit Hot Water Beach, Cathedral Cove.

A variety of restaurants, beaches and a very interesting golf course are within a 7-8 minutes drive.

An ideal base to explore the Coromandel Peninsula.

Fig Tree Cottage and Paua Bach are self contained country style comfort with french doors opening into orchard, crisp cotton bed linen, fresh fruit and flowers.

Enjoy the breakfast brought out to your private deck. Including fresh in season fruit, homemade bread, freshly squeezed orange juice and free range eggs.

Watch our bird life, approximately 24 different bird varieties. Go fishing and enjoy the catch cooked on your barbeque.

Special to the Bach.. Experience our old fashioned outdoor bath.
Walk and swim at our beautiful beaches, explore the various tracks, tramp some of the interesting tracks on the Coromandel Ranges, experience some of the many boat trips on offer. Go fishing, diving or sightseeing.

The area has a great history with Captain Cook landing here in 1769.

We are just over 2 hours drive from Auckland.

Our property is smoke free. We are a member of (a)Home New Zealand.
