Chris and Jane offer relaxed, modern bed and breakfast accommodation for cyclists and outdoors adventurers visiting the Tweed Valley. Secure bike room, workshop and bike wash just minutes ride from some of the world’s best MTB trails. Whether you visit for the biking or not we can provide the sort of stay we would have been looking for if we were visiting the area.

We have both cycled all over the globe and have stayed in some inspirational places hopefully we can provide something to match. Taking inspiration from the ski chalets in Morzine and the Alps and the Moroccan auberges in the Atlas Mountains we have a very relaxed 'part of the family feel' that we found so welcoming on our trips.

As a cycling professional Chris has a wealth of experience and local knowledge to share with guests. We offer evening meals at £8 per head when we can all gather around the table and chat about adventures past and future. If you prefer, our ensuite room has a supply of bike mags, dvds and local interest books so you can lock yourselves away and learn about the local culture and environment.

If biking isn't your think we have great access to long distance walking routes like the Southern Upland Way, Coast to Coast and Coasts and Castles. We also have great family walking routes at Cardrona and Glentress, all of which are just 40 minutes bus ride or drive from Edinburgh. In Scotland’s capital city you will find more great sporting activities and a multitude of galleries and places to eat.
