The Garden House, near Selkirk

The Garden House is located in the centre of our 400 acre far, in a fine walled garden.

We offer accommodation for up to a maximum of 12 guests, with one ground floor bedroom, and 4 first floor bedrooms. 3 rooms are en suite. Prices from £24 to £30 pppn. Dinner £13.50/£16.00, using home grown and local produce when available.

The garden has garden furniture, a barbecue, childrens' play area and croquet set.

We are close to the Southern Upland Way and St Cuthberts Way, and will collect walkers and return them to the walks to continue next day.

A golfing package 'Freedom of the Fairways' gives golfers the opportunity to play on many of our excellent courses at very much reduced prices.

Fishing is available on lochs and on the famous River Tweed and some of its tributaries.

The Scottish Borders offers guests a relaxing stay with many stately homes and castle to visit, some beautiful gardens and interesting museums.

The coast and Edinburgh and within one hour's drive, with the towns of Melrose, St Boswells, Kelso, Jedburgh and Hawick all within 20 minutes drive.

Tweeds, tartans and cashmere are among the specialities on offer. Robert and Hilary Dunlop, members of the Scottish Borders Ambassador Club will give you a warm welcome and a memorable stay.
