Blinkbonnie Guest House offers all guests ground floor en-suite rooms. All rooms are fully equipped with hospitality trays, central heating and digital TV's.
We have amazing views over the Irish Sea and we have private off road parking for all our guests.
Blinkbonnie is situated in it's own landscaped grounds and we are less than a five minute walk down to the harbour where you can find pubs, restaurants and various gift shops.
Stranraer is our nearest town, which has a rail link and boat service to Ireland. Nearby in Portlogan there is the world famous Botanical Gardens to visit and there are many more gardens close by for the keen gardener to visit.
If you fancy a spot of fishing or sight seeing cruise there is a local charter boat available for full or half day charter. If you are a keen golfer then you won't be disappointed as Portpatick and surrounding area have 4 golf courses available.
For the keen walker Portpatrick is at the start of the Southern Upland Way or if you just fancy a stroll then there are some lovely walks in and around Portpatrick. There are some great beaches nearby for sunning yourself or maybe doing a spot of fishing.
The Mull of Galloway is a short drive from Portpatrick and it has a visitors centre for bird watchers, it also has a great cafe with spectacular views, on a clear day you can see Cumbria, Isle of Man and Ireland.
Throughout the year Portpatrick have different events on to cater for our visitors. These events include Portpatrick Lifeboat week which is always at the end of July beginning of August and the Folk Festival which is always the first weekend in September.
