Creebridge Lodge B&B Accommodation Newton Stewart

Creebridge Lodge offers 5 bedrooms of accommodation. All bedrooms offer ensuite facilities. Formerly known as Masonfield House, Creebridge Lodge is full of character with many of its original features.

The B&B’s location in Minnigaff, on the edge of Newton Stewart, is ideal for exploring the Galloway Forest Park and surrounding countryside. All local amenities are within easy walking distance and there is a large car park at the front of the property for staying guests.

We have 3 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms, each with there own ensuite or private bathroom. All rooms feature freeview TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a hair dryer. We are one of the few B&Bs in Newton Stewart allowing pets - all we ask is that you let us know at the time of booking and bring your own bedding for them. We provide a lock up for bikes and drying facilities.

The B&B provides an ideal base for many different activities including cycling (Kirroughtree (just 4 miles away) is a great place to start one of the famous 7 stanes trails), walking (walkers will also enjoy the walks at Kirroughtree, as well as exploring the Galloway hills such as the Merrick and Cairnsmore of Fleet), birdwatching (RSPB reserve at Wood of Cree is very close by), fishing (there is an assortment of Rivers and Lochs to choose from, including parts of the Cree itself) and golf (we are within walking distance of Newton Stewart Golf Club which welcomes visitors to its 18-hole course).

Other attractions in the Galloway Forest Park (both within 20 minutes drive from the B&B) include the Wild Goat Park and Red Deer Range, which can be accessed from the A712.

Local visitor attractions include Creetown Gem Rock Museum, Bladnoch Distillery, Cream o' Galloway, Wigtown Book Town and the Whithorn Story.
