Duddingston View Bed & Breakfast
Duddingston View is only 10-12 minutes away from Edinburgh city centre and it is also within walking distance of Portobello Beach and Arthur's Seat. The historical town of Musselburgh (complete with race-course) is also 10 minutes away. With two golf courses practically on our doorstep, you are really spoilt for choice. Our unique location ensures that guests can have the best of all worlds;- a city break, seaside holiday and sporting extravaganza.
We are on an excellent bus route (to both the City centre and Musselburgh) and also have ample free on-street parking directly outside the house.
Rooms are decorated to the highest standard with either French Louis-style or contemporary furniture, deluxe bedding and full-size televisions. Additional free-view or Sky channels, DVD players, Internet access, and board games are also available. Feature bay windows, overlooking mature gardens, ensure a plentiful supply of natural daylight.
All rooms are located on the ground floor, making them easily accessible to anyone who has limited mobility. The bathroom has a full size bath and separate double power-shower unit. Fluffy towels and bathrobes are provided in all rooms alongside an ample supply of complimentary luxury toiletries.
Guests are welcome to make full use of our mature gardens, which contain ample seating areas, a gazebo, chimnea and gas bbq. A garden conservatory is also available for guest use.
Prices are per person per room and include full Scottish breakfast, which can be served in your room, the dining-room or the conservatory.
We can provide birthday/special occasion cakes, wine and/or champagne, chocolates or flowers, upon request, for an additional charge. If you are celebrating a special occasion during your stay then please let us know prior to arrival. We adore special occasions and will do everything possible to ensure that your visit is one to remember.
