Carnoustie, which plays host to the 2007 Open Championship is less than an hour's drive.
But there is much more to St Andrews than golf. You'll discover stunning award-winning beaches, delightful botanic gardens, a castle and cathedral dating from medieval times and various interesting museums exploring the town's fascinating history. We also have an aquarium, a cinema and a varied programme at The Byre Theatre. Explore the interesting shops and be spoilt for choice with a wealth of good restaurants to suit every taste and pocket.
Venture a little further afield and explore the East Neuk with its picturesque fishing villages and boat trips. This area is also home to various arts and music festivals such as The Pittenweem Arts Festival every August. Enjoy walking The Fife Coastal Path to admire the views and local wildlife. There's so much to enjoy here.
We look forward to welcoming you to Struan!
