Majestic Glencoe twenty minutes away by car. Oban and Mallaig one hour drive away ideal for day trips

Glasgow airport two and a half hours to three hours by car.
Prestwick airport is three to three and a half hours by car.
Inverness airport is two hours away.

A boat trip to whale spot and to visit the Isles of Rum Eigg and muck is highly recommended, you can pick up your boat at Arisaig on the road to the isles, which is also the road to Mallaig. We would be glad to book this for you.

The Isle of Skye is also a very popular and is full day excursion from Fort William and Jim would be happy to point out places of interest to visit on your map.

We have a local distillery in Fort William called the Dew of Ben Nevis and they do tours seven days a week in the high season. The whisky trail taking in many famous malt whisky makers is another option for a day trip and all these distilleries do tours for visitors.
