The Woolly Rock Bed & Breakfast

All our rooms are decorated to a high standard and all have their own Shower / bathroom. Each room also has a clock/radio, television and hospitality tray. There are drying facilities available so there is no need to leave wet walking clothes and shoes in your room. Iron and Ironing board is also available on request.

A full cooked breakfast is always available using the best local produce. If you require something lighter there are cereals, yoghurt etc available in the breakfast room which boasts stunning views of Loch Linnhe and surrounding mountains.

There are several restaurants within easy reach with a variety of menus to satisfy all tastes.

We are situated in a quiet rural location just 5 miles from the popular villages of Glencoe & Ballachulish which offer many varied opportunities for walking, climbing, fishing or just admiring the scenery which is stunning whatever the weather and time of year. With Golf course close by there isn't a shortage of things to do whatever your interests. We have a varied range of information on attractions and amenities available to all of our guests.

Just 4 miles north of the Woolly Rock the small Corran Ferry takes passengers and vehicles to Ardgour. This can be used as a scenic route to Mull or to take you to Britain's most westerly point of Ardnamurchan.

Also based just 12 miles from the popular town of Fort William, which has a variety of attractions available including Britain's highest mountain Ben Nevis for the keen climbers & walkers. For those who prefer a more leisurely trip there is a Gondola which takes you 2150ft up Aonach Mor, with gentle walks that offer amazing views of the local area and of course Ben Nevis.

The Busy town of Oban is just 31 miles away and offers a range of things to see and do including ferry links to the neighbouring islands of Islay, Colonsay and Mull to name just a few.
