Auld Alliance Bed & Breakfast

The Auld Alliance is a small, family-run B&B set amidst croftland on a hillside approximately one mile from Gairloch offering traditional warm Scottish hospitality with a French twist.

Our comfortable guest rooms have en- suite facilities and offer great views south over Loch Gairloch and the mountains of Torridon and Skye. Guests enjoy a well-stocked hospitality tray and can choose either French or a full Scottish breakfast. We endeavour to use the finest local produce.

Packed lunches are available by prior arrangement. Satellite TV and a DVD player are provided and a selection of popular DVDs, games and books can be borrowed from our entertainment library. Wifi is also provided for internet access.

We have a selection of hand-made crafts, artwork and photography on display and available for purchase. Guests can walk directly from the B&B to various sandy beaches, lochans for trout fishing, hilltops as well as to Gairloch itself.

Gairloch offers visitors clean sandy beaches, dolphins, porpoises and seals in the loch, fishing boats in the harbour, mini cruises, an excellent golf course, opportunities for fishing, cycling, pony-trekking and birdwatching and some of the best and most varied walking in Scotland.

Visitors to Gairloch also enjoy many places to wine, dine and shop all around the loch. In all seasons, the local inns and hotels hold ceilidhs and live musical evenings Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited and out of consideration for allergy sufferers, we regret no pets are permitted.
