Ardtreck Cottage B&B
Ardtreck Cottage is situated on the edge of Fiskavaig Bay on the Minginish Peninsula of north-west Skye. The house has panoramic views, west, from Loch Bracadale, to South Uist and Benbecula in the Western Isles, and north, over the islands of Wiay and Oronsay, to MacLeod’s Tables, with a glimpse of McLeod’s Maidens, like some graceful old sailing ship sliding into view, round Idrigill Point.
The Minginish Peninsula is the area of Skye to which climbers and walkers are most attracted as it is here you will find the famous Cuillin range but you don’t have to be a climber to experience the majesty of the area and there are numerous walks into the Cuillin which offer a taste of the area with only a little effort.
There are also a number of pleasant local walks from the Cottage allowing you to explore the townships of Fisakavaig and Portnalong.
The Cottage is also well situated for exploring the north of the island by car.

We can also provide packed lunches for guests if required. Packed lunches should be ordered on the day before they are required.
Locally The Old Inn in Carbost, about 10 minutes drive from the Cottage, and the Taigh Ailean, in Portnalong, both provide evening meals. There is also a good selection of excellent restaurants and pubs, offering a wide choice of menus and price, in Portree, Broadford and Dunvegan, all within reasonable traveling distance from the house.
