Lochside Lodge Luxury Waterfront B&B on Skye

The Lochside Lodge is a newly built and totally bespoke property. It offers its guests luxury accommodation in the heart of the Scottish Highlands.

The house has been designed to take full advantage of its lochside position. The timber veranda actually overhangs the sea.

Leave a window open, you will feel the sea breeze and hear the waves crashing on the rocks below.

The master bedroom has a glass double doors and its own loch facing balcony. You can watch the ever-changing seascape and spectacular mountain scenery from the comfort of your bed!

There is a private 40 meter timber decked pontoon leading off a veranda that surrounds the house. The Pontoon can accommodate large yachts, although its main use seems to be for recreational purposes, such as dining out on or having morning breakfast, fishing or throwing in the odd lobster pot, or even just relaxing reading a book or taking in the scenery.

There is abundance of wildlife on your doorstep, such as Seals, Otters, Sea Eagles, Cormorants, Herons and the occasional Dolphin.

The Lochside Lodge Accommodation ( 3 bedrooms):

Master Bedroom is light and spacious, en-suite (with a corner bath and a shower), has two walk-in wardrobes, king-size bed and a sofa-bed. There is a private East facing balcony that captures the morning sun over the Cuillins and stunning loch view. This room will be ideal for a romantic weekend for two. It will also make a nice twin room with two separate beds (king-size bed & sofa bed) and a perfect family room for guests with young children. Travel cot can be arranged on request. The price for this room is from £50.00 per person per night.

Second Bedroom is bright and airy, en-suite (with a shower), has a kingsize bedroom and a walk-in wardrobe. This room would be perfect for a couple. The price for this room is from £40.00 per person per night.

Twin Room can accommodate 2 people and will make a nice kids room (there is a TV in the room). Guests staying in this room would be sharing a bathroom with one of the other rooms, so it is only offered together with one of the en-suites. The price for this room is from £25.00 per person per night.

All the bed linen and towels provided are high quality Egyptian Cotton. High quality fixtures and fittings have been used throughout. All floor coverings are walnut wood, black granite or woollen carpets.

There is parking for 2 cars within the house grounds as well as a children's play area.
