Tower Ridge House Bed & Breakfast
Tower Ridge House has four letting rooms, two family*4 rooms and two king/Twin rooms, all have ensuite shower, and one of our family rooms has a corner bath and a separate shower cubicle.
Each room is spacious and comfortable and has a television with DVD, we have a chose of DVDs for your enjoyment after a long day out experiencing the Highlands, hair dryer and tea/coffee making facilities. There is ample parking and storage for bikes.
Check in time after 4pm, unless prior arrangement has been made. Check out time is 10am.
We serve a traditional Scottish cooked breakfast each morning with porridge, yoghurt, fresh fruit, cereals and fruit juices. Breakfast is served between 7.45 - 9.00am daily. On fine weather days our small decked terrace can accommodate 4 people for breakfast.
Evening meals can be provided with prior notice and packed lunches can be provided also.
We are ideally situated for walking, cycling, climbing and skiing. There is plenty to do all year round to make your stay a memorable one!
Located in the village of Torlundy only 5 minutes drive from Fort William on the A82 or by using the recently completed Fort William-Torlundy cycle way which crosses the foot of the drive, this is an ideal base to explore Lochaber and the Highlands.
Aonach Mor ski resort is the highest skiing in Scotland and for the last 3 years has had a remarkably long running ski season, it can be accessed just behind our house.
There are 12 lifts taking you to the Ski runs, for beginners there are easy runs for you to gain plenty of experience and confidence before tackling the harder slopes and for those who just want to take in the sights and sound of Skiing there is the Snowgoose Mountain Restaurant.
This area is a walkers/cyclists paradise, with 25 miles of routes to be explored by either walking or on mountain bikes. Discover the Witches Broomstick Trails that will take you through some breathtaking scenery. These walks can be as easy or as hard as you like, its there to be enjoyed by everyone.
The Gondola, Britains only mountain cable car will take you up to 650m up, taking approx 15 minutes to get to the top. The journey will let you take in the breathing taking scenery, including the Great Glen, Ben Nevis and once you get to the top on a clear day you can see as far as the Inner Hebrides. In the winter months you can reach the Ski slopes of Aonach Mor via the cable car. and in the Spring/Summer months Mountain biking can be enjoyed by the hardy down hillers or those less experienced.
From 1st April to 31st October prices are from £60 per room, based on 2 people sharing.
From 1st July to 31st August prices are from £70 per room, based in 2 people sharing
From 1st November until 31st March prices are £50 per room, based on 2 people sharing.
Stay a minimum of 2 nights and get 10% discount.
All prices are based on 2 people sharing and includes a hearty breakfast.
