Mal Dingle welcomes guests to Rosebank House, an elegant and spacious Victorian house situated in the pleasant village of Strathyre, on the eastern edge of the Trossachs in Perthshire, central Scotland.

A little over an hour's drive from both Edinburgh and Glasgow, Strathyre is also well located for exploring much of Scotland. Loch Lomond, Perth, Fort William, The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, Glencoe, the Arrochar Alps and Stirling are all within easy reach by car. Strathyre is 8 miles north of Callander, 19 miles from Stirling and 31 miles from Perth.

With its scenic location, Strathyre is particularly well situated for walkers and bird watchers and there are many places of interest in the area. The more adventurous may choose to drive to Oban and catch a ferry to one of the islands.

Strathyre is also a convenient base from which you can explore the Trossachs, often known as ' The Highlands in Miniature' and long regarded as one of the most scenic areas in Scotland.

Rosebank House has 5 comfortable bedrooms all with good views of either the large attractive garden or the surrounding countryside. With its Ancient Buchanan tartan carpets, guest lounge, conservatory and summerhouse, we offer a warm welcome and pleasant surroundings in which to relax.

All rooms have en suite or private bathrooms, television, hair driers and facilities for making tea and coffee. Free wireless Internet access is provided.

There are three inns within a few minutes walk, which offer a range of reasonably priced and wholesome food and drink.
