The Anchorage Downtown Hotel is more B&B than hotel. It has just 16 well appointed rooms with home type furniture. A wonderful living room for guest to lounge around in. It is just on the fringe of downtown within in a short walk to everything.

The rooms are very private with every 4 rooms being able to close off from the others for family privacy. All rooms have cable, internet, fridge, coffee, microwave. There is free laundry machines for guest use. The owners live on site and are always there to take care of your every need. There is a city park across the street for the kids to play in. Lots of parking. Great breakfast and evening snacks.

Bus stop to the airport next door. The city centre, museums, convention centre, restaurants, shopping, train station, and in city salmon fishing is just a short walk away. Nightlife, churches, parks, walking trail and more is just out the door. Both the convention centers and the Performing Arts Center is just down the street. See moose and other wildlife in the park across the street.

The ocean is just 4 blocks away. In the summer all outdoor activities take place across the street in the park. Our building is very secure and has a sprinkler system and all security for a safe stay. Need a rental car or other transportation? we can arrange for you.

We are here to make your stay in our wonderful city a pleasure all you have to do is ask and we will ensure all your wishes are met. Special events, birthdays, etc, we can arrange for catering, parties etc. Family gathering, business groups, church groups, student groups we can make the complete facility available with proper notice.

We have had several wedding parties stay here. There are village groups that take the complete facility from time to time. In the winter we house many students. Traveling doctors and nurses stay with us. A wonderful little place that can suite many needs.
