To the East of us is the Grand Mesa, the worlds largest flat top mountain, to the south is the Colorado National Monument, both of these mountains have hiking areas that are breathtaking, and some canyons that will make you say WOW.

To the north are the Bookcliffs, the corner stone of which is Mount Garfield, it rises way above the valley floor, it too has hiking trails to the top and the views from there will take you breath away.

Further north is Dinosaur Colorado, diggins from there can be seen in Fruita Colorado at the Dinosaur museum, really quite a neat place to visit.

As Stated earlier, from our BnB you can visit all of these with just a short trip in any direction. Grand Junctions main street was voted most beautiful main street in the 80's and still boasts a walking area that has 'art on the corner' on every corner and is really a street to be sure to visit.
