Barnes Street Bed & Breakfast
Come stay with us in a 4-bedroom Victorian home lovingly preserved and furnished almost entirely with period antiques. Words cannot do this house justice, please visit our website for a gallery of pictures.
15 minutes from Lansing and Michigan State University and located in a historic town with more than 10 antiques shops and other boutique shopping.
We are located in beautiful Mason, Michigan. Settled in the 1830s as a lumber and logging town, Mason incorporated as a city at the end of the Civil War in 1865. Mason is the county seat for Ingham County, which is unique in the nation for not being the same city as the state capital. The downtown area has been wonderfully preserved and is home to many second- and third-generation family businesses.
Getting To Mason
Mason is located in the heart of Michigan along Hwy 127.
We are 5 miles south of I-96/Lansing and 20 miles north of I-94/Jackson. The Lansing area is served by the Capital City Airport which is a short 25 minute drive north. If you are flying your own light aircraft, Jewett Airfield is just outside Mason city limits and we can arrange shuttle service for you.
