Stratford Bed & Breakfast
The Stratford Bed & Breakfast welcomes you to southern Utah's Festival City, Cedar City. This intimate B&B features five bedchambers, each evoking its own unique theme.
Your choices include the Nottingham Room with its charming flocked wallpaper and touches of country.
The Yorkshire chamber is perfect if separate beds are required or if there's three people in your party.
The Windsor Suite is regal in purple with your choice of a king or separated into two twin beds. A trundle bed can also accommodate a third person.
Upstairs is the Coventry and Piccadilly rooms, each with its own distinct decor. For photos of each room, please visit my Web site.
The highest quality bed linens complement the featherbed mattresses. Antiques found locally and also of European origin are scattered throughout the rooms. Each guestroom has a private bath with either a shower or a clawfoot tub. Fluffy towels and many personal amenities are provided.
Central airconditioning or window units will keep you comfortable. In the mornings, feast on delectable home-cooked breakfasts.
The house specialties include quiches & breakfast casseroles, gingerbread waffles and strawberry cheesecake French toast among an ever-expanding menu of new savory items. Hormone-free eggs, organic produce and fruit from the b&b's garden are used as the seasons permit.
Just down the street is the Shakespeare Festival where you can enjoy a repertory troupe of professional actors performing three Shakespeare and three contemporary plays from June to September.
The Fall season showcases three plays from mid-September through October. Jump in the car and visit Zion National Park which is just 45 minutes away or Bryce Canyon which is 80 miles east through stunning mountain scenery.
We are three hours north of Las Vegas, NV, and a natural stopover if you're venturing further into eastern Utah to visit Arches or Canyonlands National Parks or heading further into the Rocky Mountain states.
