Capture the timeless essence of Colonial Williamsburg with an unforgettable stay at the Bentley Manor Inn!
Bentley Manor Inn is Williamsburg's newest Bed and Breakfast, having been extensively renovated in the spring and early summer of 2007.
The Inn now combines traditional décor and craftsmanship with the modern conveniences guests have come to expect. The gathering room - with Georgian fireplace and plantation shutters, as well as comfortable furnishings and antiques - provides equal opportunity for both quiet relaxation and socializing. Guest chambers offer light, airy rooms, with private baths - for relaxing and reflecting on the day's activities.
In the morning, indulge yourself with a generous country breakfast, served by candlelight in the formal dining room. Breakfast includes your choice of entree, fresh fruit and yoghurt, juices, coffee, and teas. To afford you a leisurely stay, breakfast is served between 8:30 and 9:30 AM.
Every afternoon, after a full day of exploration and new discoveries, relax and enjoy light refreshments in the gathering room... where you might just find a new friend!
When you are ready to settle in for the evening, we offer four very distinct rooms:
The Captain John Smith Room grants a queen size bed and private full bath, including a bathtub and shower. The Captain's Room, with it's mahogany four poster bed and comfortable sitting area, overlooks the fragrant gardenia gardens and provides a regal setting reflecting the finest of Colonial Williamsburg.
The George Wythe Room offers a white iron queen size bed and private bath with tile shower. George Wythe, the first Professor of Law at the College of William & Mary, would have enjoyed this calming retreat in the quiet rear corner of the Inn. The two large windows offer a tranquil view of lush natural Virginia gardens from both bed and sitting area.
The Thomas Jefferson Room provides a traditional queen-size sleigh bed and private bath with tile shower. This bright front bed chamber extends the Old World Charm of Colonial Williamsburg. Large sunny windows give an open and airy feel to this pleasant antique setting, while the sitting area presents guests with a tranquil retreat. Thomas Jefferson would feel right at home!
The Governor Berkeley Room yields a queen-size four-poster canopy bed and large luxurious new bath with oversized tile shower. The Governor's room, named after one of Virginia's royal governor's, is a light and spacious room reflecting the simple and classic style of Virginia life. A serene sitting area supports a quiet place of comfort, situated at the back of the Inn - always a favorite choice.
