Visit us in America's birthplace. The Inn at 802 offers you a high level of comfort, privacy, and friendly service in an environment that reflects the quiet elegance of an earlier time.

The decor in all of our guest rooms reflects Colonial charm and beautifully coordinated colors and fabrics. The window treatments, duvet covers, dust ruffles, and pillow shams are all handmade and reflect the attention to detail so common long ago and still so tasteful today.

All guests rooms have private baths, writing desks with chairs, and beautiful period-style antiques and reproductions. While each guest room is different, they share a common theme of comfort and good taste. They are spacious, private, quiet, and inviting. Our entire Inn is climate-controlled for our guests' comfort.

Enjoy early morning coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and sumptuous full breakfasts. Our morning table is set with crystal, fine china, silver, and is candlelit for your enjoyment. The common areas of the house include an extensive library with a fireplace, a large living room also with a fireplace and a grand piano, and a GUEST KITCHEN with complementary beverages. The formal dining room can be used for a conference room for up to 10 people.

The room descriptions are as follows:

DUKE OF GLOUCESTER ROOM: The Duke of Gloucester Room is on the first floor. It has a charming pencil-post queen-size bed with a cozy goose-down comforter, spinet-style writing desk, armoire, dresser, and cable-TV with remote control. All guest rooms have full, private baths with tub and shower. $135 per night (double occupancy)

KING GEORGE ROOM: The King George Room is also on the first floor. It has a beautiful king-size rice-carved four-poster bed with a fluffy goose-down comforter, chest of drawers, knee-hole writing desk with chair, and cable-TV with remote control. All guest rooms have full, private baths with tub and shower. $145 per night (double occupancy)

LAFFAYETTE ROOM: The Lafayette Room is on the second floor. It has two beds, a four-poster rice-carved queen bed, and a full-size four-poster bed. It can accommodate two or three persons. The Lafayette Room is complete with its serpentine, ball & claw footed writing desk, built in dresser and armoire for cable-TV with remote control. Both beds have cozy goose-down comforters. All guest rooms have full, private baths with tub and shower. $150 per night (double occupancy)

FRANCIS NICHOLSON ROOM: The Francis Nicholson Room is also on the second floor and is the largest of our guest rooms. It has a beautiful silky walnut king-size featherbed with a cozy goose-down comforter. There is an additional twin bed in the room with a goose down comforter as well. The room is complete with matching knee-hole desk/vanity with stool and mirror as well as night table and chest of drawers. The Francis Nicholson Room also has built in chest of drawers and cupboard for cable-TV with remote control. All guest rooms have full, private baths with tub and shower. $160 per night (double occupancy)
