Hollyville Cottage B&B

Carmarthenshire, West Wales enjoy a lovely holiday in our beautiful 120 year old cottage. Elizabeth & John offer their home for guests to have a relaxing holiday. Your breakfast will be freshly cooked to your order using local produce and our own grown and produced food where possible. Fresh eggs from our chickens and Honey from our own Beehives.

Each of the bedrooms are decorated in soft colours and have comfortable beds and plenty of extras to make your stay an enjoyable experience. You have a choice of our twin or double room with private shower/bathroom with views to the front over grazing cows or sheep. These two rooms may be used as the family suite and a travel cot is also available.

Alternatively you may wish to stay in Beehive cottage adjacent to the main house on a Bed and Breakfast basis. Here we have two en-suite bedrooms one double and one twin with views over the wildlife pond and farmland.

Alternatively Beehive cottage can be rented as a Self-Catering property.

Enjoy your breakfast in our dining room with the wood burner in winter or on warm summer mornings you may like to eat on the Terrace, the choice is yours.

Hollyville is an easy drive away from the beautiful Cardigan Bay coast, for those lovely coastal walks stopping at the charming sea port of Aberaeron, and the sandy beach of New Quay.

You may prefer to walk the Brecon Beacons, this location is a reasonable car drive away taking in some of the beautiful countryside along the way.
If Historic Castles and history are your interest then maybe book a guided tour with John who is an historian and author.

For those who just like to ramble along then our immediate countryside is ideal for you. Our cottage is a pleasant walk from the river Teifi or the Iron Age hill fort and the historic church. Salmon Fishing is available on the river subject to licences and permits from the Llandysul fishing club.

Llanllwni Mountain is within a couple of miles where you can ride a horse or take a drive over, we can supply you with a delicious picnic to enjoy.
