Delicious Meatfree and Fish meals - bacon is available for breakfast for our non-veggie guests. To be enjoyed on the veranda of the Log Cabin in fine weather and inside in inclement weather.
Guests are welcome to wonder our smallholding and meet the animals.
Rhyd-y-Groes is central to award winning coasts with clear blue waters and marine life - spot the dolphins, seals and porpoises, Cambrian mountains with exhilarating walks, Lampeter and Aberystwyth Universities are a short drive away. Gold mines, Elan Valley with it's reservoirs and ancient Tin Mines, Local fishing, golf, bridal paths and cycle hire to enjoy your holiday to the full.
Children are welcome to interact with our animals. Two Shetland Ponies, Lucy the sheep and numerous ducks. New ducklings have arrived!
We also have a handful of chickens and Eve now has her long awaited horse - a gentle Thoroughbred who was rescued from slaughter in 2011.
Rhyd-y-Groes is ideal for those attending local weddings, a local taxi service is available to enable guests to relax and enjoy the occasion completely.
Alternatively, you may wish to enjoy a relaxing break in the splendid part of Wales.
Our 18th Century Stone Lodge is the perfect setting for romantic and family breaks with it's open plan sleeping/living area featuring stone fireplace with pot belly wood burner. All wood and firelighters supplied.
Off from this area is a kitchen with fridge/freezer, large cooker with two ovens, grill and seven ring hob, microwave, dishwasher etc. and a separate w.c. and shower room.
Outside guests can relax in the lodge garden areas, take in a BBQ or just sit and relax with a drink and watch the Red Kites and Buzzards fly overhead.
