Park Cottage B&B
At Park cottage we offer a great welcome, good food and stylish accommodation in our guestroom. But, we are also keen to minimise our environmental impact. Hot water and heating are through a ground source heat pump, and during winter the wood burner is fired up for a cosy atmosphere. In addition our food is locally sourced, including free-range meat from a local butcher and eggs from our own pure breed chickens.
Our comfortable guestroom has a king size bed and private use of a bathroom with views from the loo over the surrounding countryside. Bathrobes and the luxury of Neal's Yard products are provided for your use.
An important part of the family is our big friendly dog Dylis. She is an Irish wolfhound and is 34 (86cm) to the shoulder. Like most big dogs, she thinks it really is a lot of effort to do anything too active and she spends most of her time asleep. But, if you rustle a bonio bag she may consider getting up.
Breakfast (and dinner if arranged) can be taken either with us in the kitchen, in the sitting/dining room or if the weather permits outside in the garden. Whichever you prefer, please relax and feel at home.
There is a pub/restaurant 2 miles away while Chepstow is only 3 ½ miles away also with a choice of good pubs and restaurants.
Evening meals can be provided by prior arrangement and usually include two courses for £15. A typical menu would be slow roasted lamb with olives, anchovies and capers and home-grown vegetables followed by roast fig and honey tart with cream.
We are happy to cater for vegetarian/special diets.

· Our own dog Dylis is an important part of the family. She is an Irish wolfhound and while she is very friendly she stands 34 (86cm) to the shoulder. Though it can be difficult to tell she is that size as she is usually flat out, asleep.
· Some may say this is a good thing, but mobile signal here is very poor.
