Holtwood 4* Bed & Breakfast

Holtwood is a new house designed and built by the family in 1/2 acre of what was once farmland. Unfortunately by the time we could afford to build, the family had flown the nest!! So a bed and breakfast was born.

There is plenty of space to park and you can leave bikes etc in our garage.

We do not permit smoking in the house but you are more than welcome to smoke in the garden (I use the term loosely as that is this springs job, weather permitting) or garage if wet!!

Holtwood is about 1/2 mile from Ystradgynlais town and we have views of the Brecon Beacons to the front and farmland to the rear. We are set back from the road and therefore a very peaceful place to relax and enjoy the surrounding countryside.
We are about 18 miles from Swansea, 7 miles from Neath and ideally situated to explore the National Park.

All rooms are bright and airy and have a hospitality tray and tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, TV, radio alarm clock, and all have ensuite bathrooms which have heated towel rails, contemporary basins and constant hot water, and all the usual toiletries that you would expect and a few you might not.

Breakfast is served in the dining room from 7.30-9.30. We source locally and use organic if possible but always free range eggs. Breakfast includes, fruit juice, cereals, sausages, bacon, tomato, mushrooms and eggs (cooked to order) toast, marmalade, jam, tea coffee etc.

Our motto 'Whilst some people eat to live, we live to eat' No-one ever leaves hungry. Promise!!!

There are a good selection of restaurants and pubs locally serving a variety of lunches and evening meals.

Plenty of off road parking and storage for bikes. We try to source all our food locally, where possible organic. We have been graded 4* missed 5* by 1% !!!!! Cos of the garden.
