Yew Tree Villa
Situated in the historic village of New Radnor, that still has a school, post office, local shop and pub serving evening meals and Sunday lunches.
An ideal base for walking the Offa's Dyke walk. Visiting Hergest Croft Gardens, the Welsh Show ground. And the splendid Elan Valley with its series of dams in the mountains.
Not far away across the border into Herefordshire is the town of Hay-on Wye, famous for it array of second hand book shops. Closer are the Marches market towns of Knighton, Kington and Presteigne. Within 15 miles are the Victorian Spa towns of LLandrindod Wells and Builth Wells.
The village is set in the beautiful hillsides of the Radnorshire , a most unspoilt and tranquil part of Wales with easy access to the countryside . A great place for riding, trailbiking, bird watching and all outdoor activities.
The Royal Welsh showground has all manner of activities all year round. The Hergest Croft Gardens is close by with its well known collection of rare trees and plants. The Lovely stone Villages of Radnorshire, Cladestry, Evenjobb Painscastle, to name but a few, are well worth exploring, so is the hidden waterfall at Waterbreaksneck.
All wonderful scenery and well worth getting off the beaten track to find.
Yewtree Villa is a comfortable Edwardian house offering homely, comfortable ensuite rooms, ( all recently upgraded) and healthy, but hearty home hooked breakfast. We can provide an evening meal and packed lunches too.
Special dietary requests are catered for, plenty of parking and safe storage of bicycles, drying facilities and open fires. Transfers for walkers, pet friendly and of course a warm welcome!
