Dragon Cottage is 3 Star country cottage located in the beautiful hamlet of Llangenny, nestling at the foot of the Sugar Loaf and the Black mountains, part of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Llangenny is conveniently located aprox 1 mile from the lovely old town of Crickhowell and is a 10 minutes drive from Abergavenny-a bustling old market town famous for it's Food Festival!

Dragon Cottage neighbours an old country inn and restaurant with excellent food, which is ideal after a day of sightseeing or walking.

Here you can find ancient trees, standing stones and in the autumn watch the salmon leaping. Wildlife abounds and owls, buzzards, herons and foxes are common sightings.

Three-minute river side walk from Dragon Cottage is the 12th century church of St Cenau.

The accommodation offers en-suite, comfortable, pretty and spacious rooms with river views. Rooms all have home comforts with tea, coffee, hot chocolate making facilities and television.

We ensure our visitors a friendly welcome and a relaxed atmosphere in an ideal base from which to explore the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons.

Dogs are very welcome by prior arrangement.

Surrounding Area:
The Grwyney Fawr is a major salmon river which runs through the village close by, towards a famous salmon leap (walking distance) and on down the valley where it enters the river Usk.

Visitors can enjoy the magnificent welsh countryside with spectacular walks, direct from our doorstep.

Dragon Cottage is a perfect base for cycling, pony trekking and many guided walks, organised within the National Park and surrounding areas, catering for all abilities and duration from an easy bluebell ramble in the local woods to 7 hour hike in the mountains.
