Pwll y Faedda
Pwll-y-Faedda is an elegant 1920s fishing lodge, perfectly situated on the banks of the River Wye, with fabulous views of the rolling Welsh hills. With the Brecon Beacons only minutes away and the Black Mountains looming in the distance, it is the ideal location for your special day.
The house retains its sporting character as a fishing lodge but has the feel and grandeur of a country house. Long days spent on the terrace as the River Wye meanders past conjures up days of a bygone era. Oak panelled walls, roaring fires, and wonderful bedrooms with river views all add to the special magic of Pwll-y-Faedda.
Bed and breakfast at Pwll-y-Faedda is a wonderful experience. Each of our five double bedrooms has stunning views over the River Wye and each has its own bathroom. Our twin bedroom has views over the garden.
Pwll-y-Faedda is available for all types of functions including weddings, receptions, private parties, special events, conferences, corporate days out and concerts. Pwll-y-Faedda has a long history of salmon fishing. In fact, we have the fishing records dating back to 1922 which provide a most interesting read for any avid fisherman. Jeremy, the owner, is a very keen fisherman and can certainly guide you on the intricacies of our 800 miles of double bank fishing. We offer both coarse and game fishing as well as tuition, which can be arranged for you. Our fishing hut is available for you for lunch or breaks and we can offer a packed lunch if you would like. Bed and breakfast, as well as dinner, is also available.
