Sunny View Bed & Breakfast
Sunny View is situated in Forge, a peaceful hamlet just 1 mile south of Machynlleth. It has stunning views across to Cader Idris in Southern Snowdonia.
The property provides comfortable, modern accommodation. Both en-suite rooms have twin beds and are equipped with:
· 19” flat screen television with combined dvd/cd player.
· Free Wi-fi access available on request.
· ea and coffee making facilities.
The dining room is also a lounge area with TV for guests to use anytime. Sunny View is set in a pleasant garden which guests are welcome to enjoy.
Hosts Jayne and Steve are both vegetarian so can offer vegetarian as well as traditional breakfasts, using many local ingredients.
Sunny View is well placed for cyclists as all three of the Mach trails pass through the village. It is ideally situated midway between Coed y Brenin and Nant yr Arian, both Forestry Commission Centres with extensive trail networks.
Walkers are welcome, with a number of walks starting locally, as well as Glyndwr’s Way passing very close to Sunny View. A shed is available for safe storage of cycles or for any essential repairs, and for storing or drying walking gear.
Motorcyclists are also welcome as Jayne and Steve are keen bikers.
The Centre for Alternative Technology is only 4 miles away, the Tal y Llyn and Corris railways and the RSPB nature reserves at Ynis-Hir and Ynyslas are all close by.
Whatever the reason for your visit, a warm welcome awaits you at Sunny View.
