Many different experiences are on offer at this delightful location, the City of Swansea, the birthplace of movie star Catherine Zeta Jones and poet Dylan Thomas.
Tides Reach guest house is beautifully furnished throughout with a Victorian influence.
All rooms are en-suite and are equipped with televisions, DVD players, broadband internet access, irons, hairdryers, alarm clocks, pampering kits and hospitality trays.
We also have our own DVD library for guests to choose from.
On the ground floor there are two double/twin ambulant disabled rooms with easy access to the Victorian dining room and the comfortable lounge facilities.
Opposite the guest house is a level promenade which stretches for 5/6 miles around the Bay which makes it ideal for disabled visitors, walkers and cyclists.
Adjoining the hotel is a self catering cottage with spectacular sea views, which sleeps 4 people and has all the usual kitchen facilities and comforts of home.
The historical village of Mumbles is within easy walking distance of the guest house, where there are numerous restaurants which offer delicious local food to suit all tastes. There are a wide range of bars and coffee venues. The shopping in Mumbles is varied where you can browse at leisure in the designer shops, art galleries and local craftware.
Gower has some spectacular coastal scenery including the views from the village of Rhosilli reputedly the eigth most photographed sunset in the world.
Within a 40 minute drive is the market town of Carmarthen and en-route are the National Botanical Gardens of Wales which houses one of the largest glasshouses in the UK and Aberglassney Gardens which were uncovered and opened to the public approximately 4 years ago both were featured in programmes on the BBC television.
