Brynawel Farm bandb Reviews

What a fantastic place to stay!

We have stayed there twice in two years and will be going back again. The house is a visually lovely farmhouse with possibly the best view from a B+B i have ever seen.

I think that the synopsis really undersells the location it is set in , the common land provides a relaxing walk , with a great reward - a outstanding view of the edge of Swansea, the Gower peninsula and the Louchor estuary.

The rooms also provide great views of the landscape and the farms large pond garden and surrounding fields, which have always had horses in when we have been to stay. Christine and Martin also keep chickens , and have dogs so it really is a great base for children to explore while you relax.

It is not far from either Swansea , or the beaches and stunning landscapes of the Gower. I would easily recommend this B+B to anyone who is interested in staying in the area.

We stayed with Christine and Martin during the Urdd Eisteffod and was made to feel very welcome. Brynawel farm is in a lovely spot with terrific views, very convenient for the Gower and easy to find!
I will definately stay here again and will be recommending the farm to my friends and family.

We stayed at Brynawel Farm for two nights and had a really fantastic stay. Christine and Martin are both really friendly and went out of their way to make us (and our two dogs!) feel at home. Some B & Bs describe themselves as dog friendly, but often turn out to be merely dog tolerant and this was not the case at Brynawel Farm.

The garden is gorgeous; very large and it is completely enclosed, so dogs can run about safely. Our dogs were allowed to roam wherever they wanted, including the lounge/dining area (which was very cosy) and got lots of fuss and attention from everyone! Truly dog friendly!

Our room was lovely and large, nice and clean and the power shower in the en suite was great!! The hall, living/dining room and kitchen are all traditionally decorated, so if youre looking for a genuine escape to the country, then we can highly recommend.

The breakfasts were fantastic! Fresh eggs from the hens in the garden and locally sourced bacon~what more could you want?!
Christine pointed us in the direction of some lovely local walks and we also went to Rhossili beach and Mumbles, both of which are a must when visiting Swansea.

All in all, we had a really fantastic stay and will definitely be going back again!
