Looking out over the Looe estuary the Deganwy bed and breakfast is ideal if you want easy access to the centre of town and the beach. We have a residents bar so you can take it easy while you watch the sun go down over the estuary

The Deganwy is in East Looe, not far from the bridge for West Looe then Polperro. Although set above the road we are on level ground - with the shops and restaurants being 2 minutes and the beach 4 minutes away at an easy pace.

All our rooms have free reserved parking and we offer free wireless internet connection for the length of their stay.

Directions

By Car

From Plymouth: As you enter East Looe, we are 150 metres on the left past the Texaco Garage and before the East/West Looe Bridge.

From Polperro: Cross over the Looe Bridge, then turn left and we are 150 metres on the right.

By Rail

Looe station is 350 metres away and your journey from Liskeard to Looe is along the scenic Looe Valley Railway line.

By Coach & Bus

East and west bound bus stops are within 100 metres of the Guest House.

Looe is a picturesque fishing town that has changed little over the past years, this is mainly because of the nature of the surrounding countryside which has prevented over development in the area. Here in East Looe we have one of the largest fishing fleets in Cornwall and it is possible to visit the quayside and see the boats unload their catch.

The town of East Looe has plenty to offer, the narrow streets are lined with small shops and places to eat that have everything you would expect for your holiday and maybe something special that’s just a bit different.

The maze of narrow streets opens out on to the main waterfront which overlooks the safe sandy beech and banjo peer. If time on the beach is not for you then you could visit the lifeboat station, take a walk along the southwest coast path with its stunning scenery or just sit and watch the world go by

In the evening after you watch the sunset from our terrace.

There are over 20 restaurants pubs and bistros in the town all within four minutes level walk.

There is a wide choice when it comes to where to eat many offering freshly caught local fish
