The cottage was originally a coaching stables and has been completely refurbished retaining all of the original beams and country charm. You can enjoy a variety of breakfasts in the dining room overlooking the garden before exploring the wonderful Mid-Devon countryside and beyond. Should you wish a picnic can be provided for you to enjoy on your days out and bicycles are available for exploring the country lanes without the car.
You are welcome to use both the lounge with log burning stove plus the patio area and there's the added bonus of a lovely nearby Inn that serves good value wholesome evening meals.
Although rurally located the cottage is easily accessible from both the M5 and mainline Tiverton Parkway Railway Station. Set in Mid-Devon by the Devon-Somerset borders there are many places to explore in all directions. For instance, the local towns of Tiverton, Bampton, Wiviliscombe, Bickleigh and South Molton are all nearby. Plus the National Trust's Knighthayes Court and Killerton House. And Exmoor, Dartmoor, the North & South coasts of both Devon & Somerset can all be easily reached - so many options for you to explore whilst staying in such a peaceful location!
During the winter months (Nov 08 - March 09) there's a special offer: 3 nights for the cost of 2 ANY night of the week or weekend. So if you're thinking of spending a few relaxing days (and nights) away in the countryside look no further!
Room Rates: For 1-2 nights: £60 per night based on 2 people sharing a room
and £55 a night for 3 nights or more. £45 per night for single occupancy of a double room.
