Millslade Country House B&B is set in the small village of Brendon, nestling along the East Lyn river in a secluded valley with in the Exmoor National Park we are a small family run business.

We have five bedrooms all en-suite and offer a full English breakfast. We are ideally placed for walking and exploring the beauty and wildlife of Exmoor and the north Devon coast.

The scenic towns of Lynton & Lynmouth is only 3 miles away with its beautiful harbour and the cliff railway no family trip would be complete with out a ride up the cliff between the historic towns of Lynton & Lynmouth, there is also a good selection of pubs, shops, and tea rooms with in easy reach.

The Lynton & Barnstable Railway is also only three miles away with its narrow gauge-1ft11inc. Which was supposed to lower the cost of construction since the line would be able to follow the natural contours of the countryside.

The seaside town of Minehead is 14 miles away where a pleasant day can be spent at Butlins or just strolling around the town or taking a trip on the steam train to Taunton.

We have our own local Exmoor zoo based between Brendon and Barnstable where many summertime activities take place. Or why take a wonderful two and a half hour Exmoor Safari trip by land rover to see the wild life traditions and the sheer beauty of Exmoor a wonderful way to see Exmoor and learn the country ways.

If walking is for you then Millslade country house is the perfect base for scenic walks through the beautiful Lorna Doone Valley and the historic Oare church and Malmsmead in the Lorna Doone novel by R D Blackmore.
