Lowertown Farm Bed and Breakfast is set in a small hamlet near Poundsgate, only three miles away from the picturesque village of Widecombe in the Moor. 'A real taste of Dartmoor'

Whether it is climbing, kayaking, walking, cycling or horse riding, Lowertown Farm is an ideal base for your stay. Our B&B is also on the traditional Two Moors Way and coast to coast walks. If you only want to spend one or two days walking, why not walk with the Llamas and Alpacas, exploring the lesser-known areas of the Moors. something truely different whilst you holiday with us!

There is a good pub within a short walk away and other recommended pubs a short drive away. We can also provide a packed lunch for your day trip by prior arrangement only.

We welcome you; with the guests own sitting room (with a eco-friendly self-sufficient log burner lit on cold nights), comfy sofas and an English breakfast, sourced locally when possible. With eggs from our chickens in the garden.

We can provide local knowledge and recommendations to make the most of your stay with us.

We offer a family room (with a bunk bed), a double room and a twin room (can be made into another double bed if required). Pets are welcome by prior agreement only, please call us for details.

We take no more than six guests at a time to ensure you have a relaxed, enjoyable stay.

We charge £20 per person per night based on two (or more) sharing. Single occupancy charge applies at £30 per night. Payment in cash or cheque (with guarantee card).

Bring your horse on holiday! Choose from grass, DIY or full livery and come riding on the moorland and woodland. Have a go at hunting on Dartmoor too! Please phone for further details.
