Our Dartmoor bed and breakfast which is situated on the edge of the beautiful village of Lustleigh. Our newly-refurbished en suite room has a super-king bed and a luxury bathroom with bath and separate waterfall shower. You’ll also enjoy superb views, a lounge area in the room to relax, read or watch TV, free wifi and your own entrance and seating area in the garden. We have both worked in hospitality for much of our lives and want you to feel independent but pampered. Martin’s breakfasts are all made with local produce and lots of love. We also have plenty of off- road parking and a garage for bikes if required.

Lustleigh is the ideal place to base yourself when visiting Dartmoor. Walks of all descriptions can be started from our house and encompass woodlands, rivers and continue out onto the moor. We’re also on national cycle route 28. Walking and cycling are, of course, not the only reason people come to Dartmoor. There are many other activities here in the National Park. Lustleigh is also an excellent stop off point when travelling down to Cornwall, visiting the gorgeous south Devon coast or just enjoying all the other attractions that Devon has to offer.

Lustleigh is a quintessential English village, situated inside Dartmoor National Park, that regularly features in The Times & The Telegraph Top 10 Villages in England. Lustleigh is the perfect place to stay on Dartmoor. There are a huge variety of walks, from our door, to suit every age and ability. It’s also easy to reach the moor.

Closer to home, The Lustleigh Cleave walk is a very enjoyable 5 mile walk through beautiful woodlands and alongside rivers.

This part of Dartmoor is one of the more densely wooded so there are lots of beautiful woodland paths, rivers and streams. This means wildlife is a feature here and there are many varieties of birds to enjoy. From circling buzzards to owls hooting in the night, this is a paradise for nature lovers.

For entertainment, there are plenty of local events and, for the size of Lustleigh, our village hall has an impressive range of things going on. In the summer, particularly, there are markets, exhibitions, fairs and shows in all our surrounding villages.
