St John's Guest House is a Victorian terrace property, originally built circa 1880, and located approximately 70 yards from the beach. Conveniently situated and easy to find, there is a large free onsite car park for guests. The train & coach stations are only a few minutes away.
Having recently completed a considerable refurbishment, all rooms are en-suite and have been tastefully updated with modern facilities. All rooms have a television with DVD player, and complimentary access to our courtesy DVD library. Free WiFi Internet access is available.
For your comfort and convenience rooms also have Tea & Coffee making facilities, fans, radio/alarm clocks and hair dryers. Ironing facilities are available upon request. We also have a variety of ground floor rooms available.
We understand the importance of starting the day on the right foot and pride ourselves on the quality of our breakfast. We use local farm produce where possible, and offer a variety of hot and cold alternatives.
Weymouth itself has plenty to offer. The golden sands and safe water of Weymouth Beach and bay are some of the finest in Great Britain. Throughout the year the beach hosts several major events including the International Beach Kite Festival, Fireworks, Tag Rugby, Handball, Volleyball, Motocross etc. From lazing on the beach or sitting along the Seafront the views are inspirational with the panoramic bay and World Heritage Jurassic coastline extending as far as the eye can see.
The main shopping area is mainly pedestrianised and has a wide variety of shops and restaurants, As well as a multi-screen cinema. Theatre shows, 10 pin bowling, the marina, the Sea Life Centre and beautiful gardens are all within walking distance.
