Honeysuckle Cottage is situated in the heart of the Cotswolds within the picturesque village of Nether Westcote on the Oxfordshire/Gloucestershire border with stunning views over the Cotswold Hills to Warwickshire.

We have a comfortable double bedroom with ensuite shower room available to couples and single people plus a shared children’s room. Freeview television, tea and coffee facilities.

We offer a full English Breakfast in our dining room, with locally sourced sausages and bacon. Free range eggs from the village. We are happy to offer vegetarian options and can accommodate special dietary requirements if advised.

It is a comfortable base for visiting Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold, Burford, Cirencester, Cheltenham, Chipping Norton and Moreton-in-Marsh with its fantastic Tuesday market. Chipping Norton also has a good market and has its own charming Theatre which stages a well renowned and very entertaining pantomime at Christmas and other interesting films and productions throughout the year.

The Cotswold Wildlife Park and Cotswold Farm Park are also within easy reach as are the Rollright Stones and many beautiful walks and gardens to see. Public swimming pools, golf are close by with a riding centre in the village. Other places of interest are Batsford Arboretum and Blenheim Palace also Daylesford Organic Farm Shop and Burford Garden Centre offer a wide range of local organic food and garden and home products.

Racing at Cheltenham with the Cheltenham festival during March, Stratford and Warwick. Cheltenham and Oxford are also home to good theatres. Kingham train station is 3 miles away. Oxford is easily accessible by train or road and provides a great day out viewing the colleges and museums or just simply browsing the shops.

Cornbury music festival is held locally. There is a Cineworld cinema in Witney, which is about a 20 minute drive. There are several local pubs and restaurants for all tastes and we are happy to make recommendations.
