Glen Avon Bed and Breakfast offers a self contained, first floor room with its own entrance and private toilet and shower located on the ground floor and is accessible throughout the day. The room can accommodate single guests, couples or families with two single beds and two double futons available.
Situated in the old market town of Ringwood, Hampshire, Glen Avon bed and breakfast is ideally located to explore the surrounding countryside, towns and attractions. Ringwood town centre is just a 10 minute walk away where you will find many pubs, restaurants and shopping opportunities.
The accommodation offers equal comfort for single guests, couples or families. A travel cot can be requested as well as a stair gate if needed. The room has tea and coffee making facilities, a hair dryer and an ironing board can be provided on request.
For your entertainment there is a T.V. with Freeview and DVD player and also a radio/CD player. Free internet access is available in the room.
There is off-road parking at the front of the building and secure bicycle storage is available.
The private bathroom has a separate vanity basin, full length mirror, WC and an enclosed shower.
Breakfast is served in the adjoining family dining room.
Glen Avon Bed and Breakfast is non-smoking.
The current standard rate is £30 per person per night. Single occupancy is £35 per night. All prices include full English breakfast. Special family rates are available on request and discounts for longer visits. Please note that we are unable to accept debit/credit card payments.
Being on the western edge of the New Forest National Park , Ringwood offers easy access to the miles of walking or cycling routes within the Forest and most of the Forest pubs offer an excellent way to take in the Forests wildlife and scenery and relax at the end of the day with a drink and a meal.
Ringwood is surrounded by fishing lakes so why not try the country's favourite sport?
Within a short drive the New Forest towns of Lyndhurst and Brockenhust are easily reached.
To the south of Ringwood are the towns of Bournemouth and Poole with their long sandy beaches, opportunities for water sports and not to mention shopping, entertainment and dining. Glen Avon is only a short drive from Bournemouth International Airport and the cross channel ferry port at Poole and can be a useful stopover if travelling on an early crossing/flight or arriving late back in the UK.
Just under 20 miles to the north is the medieval city of Salisbury with its famous cathedral; and this provides a gateway to Salisbury plain and the world famous UNESCO Heritage site, Stonehenge.
Being on the Dorset border gives easy access to the county’s many natural attractions along the Jurassic Coast. As a major tourist destination the area has many other attractions ranging from the Tank Museum at Bovington to the ape rescue centre at Monkey World. Also, Paultons Park near Romsey offers families a world of entertainment.
