Opening for the 2015 season, The Bay Bed and Breakfast offers boutique style guest accommodation on a quiet street just minutes’ walk from Freshwater Bay: an area of outstanding natural beauty. We are perfectly placed for you to explore West Wight and near the stunning coastal walk from Tennyson Down to The Needles with its beautiful coloured sands.

Our Victorian property has been fully refurbished and features period features whilst providing all the luxuries the modern traveller could want. Each room is equipped with a Smart TV, tea and coffee making facilities and access to free high speed Wi-Fi. Hot water and central heating are provided by solar thermal tubes & biomass with electricity coming via our solar photovoltaic panels.

With just three guest rooms, your stay will retain the personal touch. We have two en-suite rooms and one with access to a private bathroom. Our family room sleeps three (king size bed and single bed), a twin/double room (super king size) and a double (king size) room. A guest lounge is open all day for resident's use.

Prices include a full English breakfast (with a vegetarian alternative) as well as cereals and homemade yoghurt. We cater for people with food allergies/intolerances. Food products are sourced locally to have minimal environmental impact. Packed lunches can be provided on request.
We are walking distance to Dimbola Photography Museum and Galleries, Freshwater Bay Golf Club, local shops as well as eateries including the wonderful Piano Café.

Located just three miles from the Yarmouth ferry terminal and with excellent public transport links, getting to us couldn’t be easier. For those travelling by car, there is ample free on-street parking.

We welcome families with well-behaved children, groups, couples and individuals. Bicycle racks are provided for customer use.
