The train station with its Taxi rank is also a ten minute walk. Faversham is one of Britain's finest heritage towns with nearly 500 listed buildings from the 13th to the 20th centuries.
The town contains the oldest gunpowder mills in the world, the oldest brewery in Britain and the largest collection of fruit tree varieties, housed at the Brogdale centre. On Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays there is a street market which is the oldest in Kent, going back over 900years.
