West Layton Manor Bed & Breakfast
Close to Richmond in North Yorkshire we offer 4 Ensuite rooms all with King size beds. All bathrooms have a bath with shower over. Francis Layton's and Lord Rokeby's rooms both have elegant four poster beds. Miss Easton's room has a lovely Gothic king size bed and Miss Embleton's room has a king size rococo bed.
All rooms have TV's with a built in DVD player, crystal decanter with complimentary sherry and 2 glasses, tea and coffee making facilities, silent fridge with bottled water and fresh milk, we supply complimentary Clarins toiletries.
Our bed and breakfast comprises the largest section of the Manor with the properties most impressive features. Relax in the magnificent entrance hall where you can partake in afternoon tea between 16:00-17:30 by the roaring log fire. Then ascend the splendid carved wooden staircase leading to your bedroom where you can unwind with a complimentary glass of sherry.
Breakfast is served in our elegant dining room which is included in your price. This consists of cereals, home made yoghurt, a selection of cooked food, juices, tea and coffee. We also cater for dietary requirements with previous notice.
We are close to the Yorkshire Dales National Park with its spectacular scenery, The Bowes Museum which is famous for its silver Swan automotan and the pretty town of Barnard Castle. Not far from the A1 we are ideally located for a natural stop off break if travelling to or from Scotland.
