Post Office House in Belford was the former post office which closed in 2014. It is a substantial Grade II Listed Victorian building which was converted in 2016 and now offers luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation in comfortable surroundings.

Facilities include free WiFi, private on-site parking, smart TVs, USB socket points, Nespresso coffee machines and homemade cake on arrival. There is also a secluded garden where guests are welcome to sit and relax in the summer months.

Our award-winning breakfasts are served in the cosy dining room where a log burning stove is lit in the colder months. Breakfasts are cooked-to-order and are made using local produce. Breakfast options include fresh fruit, homemade muesli, Full Northumbrian cooked, kippers and smoked haddock. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free diets are also catered for (by prior arrangement). We are also walker, cyclist and motorcycle friendly with drying facilities and secure storage.

Belford itself has good, local facilities with a Co-Operative supermarket (with the Post Office now located here!), two pubs, quaint cafes and a farm shop with delicatessen.

It is also on the route of St Cuthbert's Way with its' nearby cave and St Oswald's Way. The Great North Road formerly ran through Belford (bypassed in 1983) and it is a very popular route with cyclists.

Our room rates are as follows:

High Season - £105 double occ and £95, single occ (single night stays)
Two nights or more: £99 (double occupancy), £89 (single occupancy)
Low Season - £89 (double occupancy), £79 (single occupancy)
Prices are per room, per night, including breakfast.

We require a deposit equal to the first nights' stay to secure your booking, 14 days prior to your stay. We accept credit and debit cards. Sorry but we do not accept payment by American Express, Diners Card EuroCheque or cheques.

Our cancellation policy: If cancelled outside 14 days, the deposit is refunded. If cancelled within the 14 day period, the deposit is retained. In the case of `no-show', then the total cost of the stay will be taken. Our check-in times are between 4-6pm. No arrivals outside these hours, unless agreed otherwise.

We accept children over the age of 15 years. We are sorry but we cannot accommodate dogs. No stag/hen/wedding bookings or similar groups
