Upper Letton Farmhouse B&B
We have two guest rooms both of which are large, comfortable, duel aspect rooms. They are decorated in calming pastel shades and each room has views over the surrounding stunningly beautiful countryside. The Apple Room has a private bathroom with bath and shower and the Meadow Room has a luxurious en-suite bathroom.
Both are absolutely delightful double rooms with flat screen television, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, mini fridge, information folder and drinks tray. The drinks tray includes selection of teas, coffee, cakes and biscuits and in the mini fridge you will find fresh milk, mineral water and fruit juice.
Each room has extra pillows and blankets available in the wardrobes and large fluffy towels in the bathrooms along with luxurious toiletries.
Everything you will need to make your stay with us as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
If you are looking for a vibrant, busy, noisy weekend away with shops and bars on the doorstep we are not the Bed and Breakfast for you, but if however you are looking for somewhere peaceful, tranquil and relaxing, where the nearest shop is almost 3 miles away, where the countryside is breathtakingly beautiful and the only noise at night are the owls then we are what you are looking for.
We have a choice of exceptional country pubs and restaurants between 3 – 8 miles away which cater for all tastes.
We have ample parking on site including secure lock-up parking for bikes, bicycles and any cars that need pampering.
THINGS TO DO
There are a myriad of things to do and places to go such as Historic Ludlow with its medieval castle and gourmet restaurants and the famous Ludlow Food Centre, several National Trust properties, the Black and White villages of Hereford, the castles of Stokesay and Croft, the Welsh Marches, Offas Dyke, Hampton Court Castle and Gardens nr Leominster and Bewdley Safari Park to mention just a few.
You will find all the information and brochures you will need in the Sitting Room or alternatively we can suggest days out for you to enjoy. If that all sounds a bit too much like hard work you can always take a book out into the garden and relax with just birdsong to keep you company or settle yourself into one of the large comfy settees in the sitting room and while away the hours with a jigsaw puzzle.
Breakast is served in the bright, airy dining room between 8.30am – 10.00am.
The fresh country air will give you (hopefully) a large appetite so Breakfast is always a hearty affair with a selection of Cereals, Yoghurts, Fresh Fruit, Pastries and Toast and a traditional farmhouse breakfast with all fresh local produce. There are alternatives for those who prefer a lighter start to the day, poached eggs on granary toast perhaps or scrambled eggs with home-cured bacon maybe or waffles with syrup or just a boiled egg (or 2) with soldiers.
A continental style breakfast is available before 8.30am for early risers.
We do not offer evening meals but can with 24hrs notice (we do not have any shops on our doorstep so do need notice) offer light snacks such as Sandwich Platter, Cold Meat Platter, Homemade Quiche and Salad, or Selection of local cheeses served with Red Onions and Crusty bread and butter. These will be charged at £7.50 per person
There are several good Pubs and Restaurants in and around the area which we recommend, details and directions will be found in your room folder.
We are a pet friendly bed and breakfast and you are welcome to bring your well behaved pet. We have kennelling for dogs who do not wish to stay in the house with their owners but prefer their own space outside and stabling for a horse (or 2). We are surrounded by excellent riding and walking countryside and can recommend some lovely walks with dog friendly pubs on the way!!
We do, however, have a few little rules.
We do have our own dogs, cats and chickens so we do ask that if your pet is not ‘animal friendly’ he or she is kept on a lead at all times when outside. Leads are to be kept on at all times when out on the car parking area.
If your pet is not averse to cats you can let him or her have free reign of the front garden and meadow at all times during your stay as long as you are with them. We do ask that you do not leave your pet unattended both in the room and outside.
If your pet is wet and muddy please always dry them off before entering the house. Towels can be provided upon request.
We also ask that you always use the bags and black bin provided should your pet wish to use the toilet.
We do not allow any animals in the dining room.
