Field Farm Bed & Breakfast

Field Farm is situated in the small hamlet of Ellens Green on the Surrey/West Sussex borders. Backing south, the house is light and airy with glorious views from all the rooms across the gardens and fields of our small 40 acre family farm, ensuring our guests feel relaxed, refreshed and rested after staying with us.

We will do our best to make you feel welcome and to ensure you enjoy your time with us whether you are here for pleasure or business.

On arrival, take time for tea and homemade cakes on the patio, by the small lake in the garden, or in the comfort of the Blue Room with views across the farm.

Your large, double aspect bedroom with luxury kingsize bed, has stunning views across our land and has all the home comforts you will need for a good night’s rest. With large windows facing south and west, you can wake up to views of our sheep and cattle grazing in the fields or watch the sun go down at the end of the day.

Tea and coffee making facilities are provided with wine glasses should you fancy something stronger!

LCD TV/DVD player with freeview gives access to all TV and radio programmes and a selection of DVDs is available for your use plus free Wi-Fi if needed. For quieter moments there are a selection of books and magazines. Or just open the window to hear the country sounds of birds and owls at night if you are lucky.

Your privacy is ensured as you have your own lockable entrance door to a small lobby area leading into your bedroom and separate bathroom.

The large modern bathroom has a bath, plus power shower and double windows with views as you wash looking west and northwards to the Surrey Hills.

We also have a second smaller double room that can be available if required.

Field Farm is just a short walking distance to the friendly 18th century village pub and only a 5 minute drive to many other local country pubs or into Cranleigh, which offers a variety of shops, leisure and eating establishments.

Easy access to Guildford -12 miles, Gatwick - 14 miles and London -34 miles (or 40 mins by train from Guildford). Brighton, Arundel and the south coast are all a picturesque 40 minute drive across the South Downs.

We are situated on the Surrey/Sussex border path and have many stunning walks in the local area with footpaths leading from the farm, or just walk or sit in our own private fields and woods.

We are also ideally situated for keen cyclists, being located on the Surrey cycle route plus only 10 mins bike ride from the Downs Link cycle path that has 21 miles of off road cycling or walking on an old railway route.

There is ample, safe parking in our farmyard with transfers/collections available if required by prior arrangement.

If required we can also offer overnight accommodation for a horse and have room to park the horsebox or trailer.

Tariff is £75 for the double room
or £50 if booked as a single.
Discounts for stays of more than one night.

Do contact us if you require anymore information, we look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards Delaine & Nick.
