The Craven Heifer Boutique Hotel & Restaurant

Hotel details
This contemporary pub with rooms in a traditional stone inn fronts the town's main street. It's 0.5 miles from the A65, 3.3 miles from the ruins of Bolton Abbey and 5.7 miles from Skipton Castle.

The upbeat rooms are individually themed for local icons, containing modern artwork and furnishings, and flat-screen TVs. Some have free-standing bathtubs and/or rainfall showerheads, while 1 adds a riveted cast iron bath, oak floors and a handmade bed.

The restaurant offers a sophisticated take on British cuisine, along with a locally inspired bar menu.

After some initial issues with our booking through Expedia, Gavin at the Craven Heifer couldn’t have helped more in getting our issues sorted, even though the hotel wasn’t to blame or have been anymore welcoming. The room was immaculate and was full of character and charm. Would definitely recommend.

Just reopened and I found it lovely and clean, rooms are amazing never seen a bath as big, beds were really comfortable, food brilliant and the staff are helpful and friendly. It is set in a beautiful village just outside Ilkley and would recommend anyone to stay there. We will definitely be back had a great time.

Had afternoon tea here with a groupon voucher, food was great, sausage roll pie and burger were fantastic and so were the cakes. Great friendly staff and the pub is just on the main road and easy to find. Would definitely come here again

We stayed here for one night and ate in the restaurant. The food was delicious, especially the lamb, and the service and friendliness of the staff was fantastic. The rooms were lovely with fresh white bedding and towels, with lots of nice touches.

We enjoyed a fantastic overnight stay in the Crows nest room which cannot be faulted in any way. Pleasantly surprised and impressed with the decor and cosiness. Sampled the great cask beers on tap and ate from the lunchtime menu which was lovely. The owners and staff were friendly and courteous and made our stay an enjoyable one.

What a wonderful village public house! I have visited before - many years ago. Peter and Rachel - (the new publicans) are breathing new life into the venue and their menu and indeed the rooms are absolutely first class.
