Honeysuckle Cottage, Broughton Gifford, Nr Bath
We have a twin bedded (can be made into a double) apartment with kitchenette and shower facilities on a room only basis at £70 per night. If you opt for B&B the rate is £80. Prices based for the room per night two sharing.
Breakfast is served in our comfortably furnished dining room. We cater for all tastes including vegetarians and vegans (but please tell us in advance). Sorry we do not take plastic (we are too small) cash or cheques only.
The room has a colour remote control TV Free View available. WiFi is also available FREE.
There is off street parking for our guests and the road is a no through road. The local pub The Bell on the Common offers food and beer and is a walk across the common (when the weather is kind). Our sunny garden is available to guests. An ideal spot for afternoon tea!
Our house, apartment and garden are non-smoking areas. Children may be accepted by prior arrangement but sorry no pets. We have a two night minimum policy.
Broughton Gifford is a quiet village between Bradford-on-Avon and Melksham. It is 20-30 minutes from Bath with all that great city offers in tourist attractions. The river Avon and the Kennet and Avon Canal are close by and Bradford-on Avon 10-15 minutes away is a lovely old wool town with many restaurants and sites to see. The countryside is ideal for walking, cycling and equestrianism.
There are a number of National Trust Properties nearby including Lacock Abbey Fox Talbot Museum and Village, The Courts Garden, Dyrham Park, Great Chalfield Manor, Prior Park Landscape Gardens, Stourhead, Westwood Manor, Iford Gardens.
Longleat Safari Park and House and The White Horse of Westbury are also within reasonable driving distances as is Devizes and Salisbury Plain and Stonehenge.
Broughton Gifford is approximately 2 hours away from London, 20-30 minutes from Bath. Why not use us as a half way stop to the Eden Project?
